It is with great pleasure that we inform you that the team of SKG Cargo Services participated as an exhibitor in the 9th International Supply Chain and Logistics Exhibition, held at the conference center "Athens Metropolitan Expo", from September 30 - October 2, 2023.
Among 300 exhibitors and an exhibition area of more than 22,000 sq.m., the participation of "SKG Cargo Services" managed to impress and receive positive comments from all those who visited our booth or walked in front of it!!!!
For the first time, our company officially participated as an exhibitor in a specialized professional event. It was a great experience for all of us and a unique opportunity for beneficial discussions.
The massive attendance of professionals in our field, from many different sub-sectors, as well as the large number of participating companies, allowed us to make important personal contacts and get to know companies from all over the world. We also had the opportunity to showcase our corporate capabilities.
We were given the ground to discuss and develop the full range of our services and gain the interest of our visitors, especially regarding the service of Customs Warehousing Procedures and the privileges they offer.
We also informed our visitors about the service of forwarding or collecting goods from the Balkan countries, as well as about the possibility we have to make direct shipments from our facilities, destined for Cyprus, but also receipt of goods from it.
We also presented our new service to our partners at our facilities, which will start in November 2023. The Bonded Warehouse of "SKG Cargo Services" extends its opening hours from 08.00 – 16.00 to 08:00 – 20:00 daily and extends its operation on Saturdays (08:00 – 16:00).
In this way, we can serve afternoon arrivals of trucks and their Customs clearance during the afternoon opening hours of Customs (for those coming from third countries), Unloading and receipt of goods from them for their immediate release and departure. This saves drivers and owners significant time so that they can serve their next destination more easily, but also for us who need to deliver stored goods that already exist in our facilities.
Finally, we attended interesting speeches by industry and state representatives regarding the cold supply chain, innovative ideas, and technologies in Logistics and Freight Forwarding, but also on the future and challenges in the field in general.
